phpOCR is a class from Andrey Kucherenko that can do Optical Character Recognition. With a little training, the script's artificial intelligence can reconize more and more characters.
A application with the same name by Janis Putrams can be found at its sourceforge page.

Does this means PHP can solve CAPTCHAs too? I was browsing around for a OCR system because I was trying to capture result of some games.

For CAPATCHA recognizion, class will need power clustering algoripm. Now my class can not recognizion real CAPATCHA images.

hi
this sunil
i am working with PHP now.i want some more clarificatons regards php OCR class.
i.e,
is this one related to captha or it is diffrent from other
and wht is actually OCR refers and means.

please can any one help me out to solve this problem
