3ld.biz

So I long forgot that I even had this account at mgccl.com and I bet mgccl did too! :) I've had this account ever since he first launched this website.

But I'm here today to do a little something against most ToS(but I don't see one here at mgccl.com).

I'm advertising my website 3ld.biz that offers free domains! All you have to do is post on our forums and get 15 3LD points.

I originally created the website to have lists of available 3 letter domains, but I got to thinking, why would anyone want to come if all I have is lists of 3 letter domains? Don't get me wrong, I still have these lists available to all and I will continue to update the ones that are posted there. If you want a 3 letter domain it is not always in your best interest to go to a registrar and start searching one by one to see if the domain is available. If you have a list of domains, you can look at ones that are available and pick one that suits you!

Soon enough I will make it so that you can buy/sell/trade domains from this website, but I need to get all the details worked out first :)

So come register at 3 Letter Domains today and get your free domains!

$500 Intel Core 2 Duo Computer>> Continued

Guess what, I succeeded. If you weren't here to read the previous post it is at "THIS LINK ". Although I didn't get an actual core 2 duo processor, I could have. I spent ~$430 on my whole machine. The specs are this.

-Pentiuim D 2.66GHZ 2MB Cache
-260GB Hitachi SATA 3gb/s
-ECS 945GCT MOBO(Comes with on board Intel video that plays most all newer games)
-Sony DVD/CD R/RW Drive
-Rosewell Computer Case
-2GB Super Talent RAM
-Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

In short, this was a build I was very proud of. This would not have been possible without the donation of a 19" flat screen LCD. The price would have jacked up another $200 but is way cheaper than any computer you would buy from Best Buy or such. I could've afforded a Core 2 Duo with the spare cash, but I'm perfectly fine with this Pentium D. After all, it has two cores.

So, can it be done? No. Can you make a comparable machine? Yes.

>$500 Intel Core 2 Computer?

You think it can be done? An Intel Core 2 Duo for under $500? Well throughout the next few weeks I will be trying to build this computer. I am actually selling my only computer I have here for $400 to get some money to build it! Some requirements will be....

Core 2 Duo

-Must have at least LCD 17" monitor dsub or dvi connectors.

-Must have 3gb/s SATA 80GB or greater hard disk.

-Must be a micro atx.

-Graphics card should be able to play most newer games, so nvidia 7 series or more.

-Must not use ATI or AMD products.

-Case must have good airflow and not attract lots of internal dust

-Must have 1 pci*16 slot and 1 pci*1 slot

-Doesn't require AGP

-Must be able to write all dvd and cd's and read them all.

This computer will be tested thoroughly probably by the next time you see me back here. So keep posted! Then maybe you can build your own Core 2 Duo Machine for under $500 USD!

Tom's Hardware

Toms Hardware Logo

Are you a fan of building your own computers? Just an enthusiastic gamer that wants a hot-rod of a machine? I'll have to refer you over to Toms Hardware. Tom's Hardware has many useful resources and things that may be useful to you in your next computer build. I didn't think toms hardware would be very informative to me, although I proved myself wrong when I went and started reading up on some of the posts they had made. I learned so much! Once again I say, if you are a machine enthusiast, head on over to tom's hardware! I'll for sure be building my next machine from information gathered here.
