Yesterday was the big decision day for MIT. They chose it to be on March 14th for the pi day reason, obviously.
Of course, almost everyone I know(except JJ) didn't get in.
I would say, most of the people who didn't get accept are amazing people. They have the passion like any MIT student, and also have interest in what MIT interest most.
I like to call these people the Complement of MIT. (Mathematically speaking, the universe are the people who have MIT spirit(w/e that is).).
Join Complement of MIT Facebook group if you didn't get into MIT but believe you have the MIT spirit.
Someone should get some MITC Con going...
Yeah. Should I make a blog post about it? HELL YEAH!
Since I read about The Manga Guide to Statistics. I wonder. Why not make it even more Japanese. The Hentai Guide to Calculus? I already imagined the plot, and all those amazing/perv math puns I have been inventing finally have a place to shine!
Speaking of rejected by MIT.
I learned that one with no expectations can't be hurt from expectations.
Bravo.
Few pranks today.
1. On the late bus, I was tricked to think it was bus to Wading River instead of Shoreham
2. Someone said I can go live in his house so I can finally go to my dream high school in Long Island--Syosset High School
3. Someone says it's easier for me to get into MIT by sleeping with all the admissions than getting 2400 on the SATs. Bull! MIT have way too big admission committee!
4. I and my pre-calc classmates organized a prank, where all pretend didn't do their homework, and I pretend I did my homework. So after that was revealed... I returned my homework to the person I took from... OMG you have to see to understand how funny that as. When the teacher was asking. "So no one did homework beside Chao?", I replied. "I guess because I know my limits." xDDD lame math pun... the homework was on limits xDDD.
Speaking of pranks....
Caltech
Caltech released a prank version of MIT's The Tech last November. A PDF version is here.
Some of the stuff I saw is so good, I can't help to put it up.

This is from the view point of someone who can't understand math...
Looking at 2 person talking about math... then a embedded math joke...
Here is the condensed version... I like this one better.

or this one... if you like it more... it's good for t-shirt and logo... do math or get high...
